Lucknow: The third season of the Golden Gala Award 2026 was organised at Nakshatra Hotel in Viraj Khand, Gomti Nagar, on September 24 to mark the seventh foundation anniversary of Nav Anshika Foundation. Popular television actress Sara Khan, best known for playing Sadhna in the Star Plus serial Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, attended the event as the celebrity guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sara Khan said humanity was the highest religion. She added that she had come to Lucknow, known for its Ganga-Jamuni culture, to share this message.
A special segment titled “Mangal Mukhis Sarv Sukhi Kamna Se Swabhiman Ki Shri Chaal”, led by Payal Singh, featured a ramp walk by members of the transgender community. Organised with prayers for world peace and national progress, the presentation received applause from the audience.
Conceptualised and directed by Nav Anshika Foundation director Nishu Tyagi, the awards honoured personalities for their contributions across different fields. An energetic cultural show was another major attraction of the evening.
Among those honoured were HBN Events Pvt Ltd founder Mohammad Badr, celebrity fashion designer Omdeep Motiani, Mithaiwala owner Mayank Jaiswal, social worker and actress Payal Singh, Union Bank of India Secretariat Branch manager Shekhar Pandey, Mizu Laser and Trading Services Pvt Ltd director Priyanka Yadav, international Kathak guru Pandit Anuj Mishra and art promoter Jagmohan Rawat, along with Sanjan Singh, Anamika Singh and Urvashi Tiwari.
The Nav Anshika Pride Award was presented to chief guest Rahul Gupta and special guests Ramesh Gupta and Rakesh Kumar Pandey.
Several other personalities from the fields of arts, culture, social work, business and public service were also felicitated during the ceremony. Distinguished guests, including Neeraj of Nakshatra and Dabir Siddiqui, attended the event.
